Guyanese miraculously escapes with minor injuries in Xmas day accident

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Eyewitnesses to a motor car accident which occurred sometime after 8:00 A.M. today, December 25, 2013 said it was a miracle that a Guyanese resident of the Virgin Islands escaped with minor injuries.

The accident occurred at the Wickham’s Cay roundabout in the vicinity of Vanterpool’s Pharmacy.

An eyewitness who was reportedly at his business place at the time of the incident recalled hearing a loud ‘bang’. Responding immediately, he noticed the black car carrying license plate number PH 265 in distress.

“After I heard the loud bang, the man topple like two time and landed on the top,” he said.

The eyewitness said that he and others immediately rushed to the scene and assisted in freeing the driver who was trapped in the car. “He good though, we helped him out and they took him to the hospital. Nothing serious aint happen to him,” he explained.

The ambulance was quick on the scene followed by Police officers from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

This news site has not been able to confirm the victim’s name or the circumstances that may have resulted in the single vehicular accident.

    Yes this guy was surely speeding hope he learns a lesson he may have not lived to see the new year..... What about those guys with the illegal bikes on the road stopping traffic for miles while they burn out on the road spiting stone and pebbles in all direction performing stunts...and don't care about other pedestrians and vehicles on the road...what are the police doing about this...innocent people could get hurt..it looks nice but could hurt themselves and others in the process.
