CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - Governor elect of the United States Virgin Islands Kenneth E. Mapp has nominated several persons to be part of his Cabinet following his swearing in as Governor on January 5, 2015.

In a press statement issued today December 30, 2014 the Mapp-Potter Team introduced and named the 13 Cabinet nominees who will be part of his administration. They are:

Attorney General…………Soraya Diase-Coffelt

Department of Education………………Sharon McCollum, PhD

Department of Public Works……………Gustav James, P.E.

Department of Tourism………………………Beverly Nicholson Doty

Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs………Devin Carrington, Esquire

Director of Personnel………………....Milton E. Potter

Bureau of Internal Revenue……….…Marvin L Pickering, EA, PHR, ATA, ATP

Motor Vehicle Bureau…………………...... Lawrence Olive

Department of Sports, Parks & Recreation…………….Pedro Cruz

Virgin Islands Police Department-Acting Commissioner……….Delroy Richards

St. Thomas Administrator……………Lawrence T. Boschulte

St. Croix Administrator………………Stephanie S. Williams

St. John Administrator……………….….. .Camille Parris, Jr.

Repeated efforts by this news site to today to reach Governor elect Mapp or his press contact Lisa Posey for a further comment proved futile. Mapp, an Independent was victorious at the elections of November 4, 2014 and the runoff elections of November 18, 2014 along with his Tortola-born running mate Lieutenant Governor elect Osbert E. Potter.
