DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – As the weekends action tipped off in the Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League, on Friday September 12, 2014, the Game Boyz made it two wins from two.

After their controversial 81-80 victory over the Bayside Blazers last week, the Game Boyz set out early to prove they are a force to be reckoned with as they romped to an 80-47 rout of the Warrias on Friday at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duff’s Bottom.

Top scorer for the Boyz was Shaquille Fonseca with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 1 block, Noel Maxwell added 13 points and 3 steals. The Hero from the win over the Blazers, Michael Benjamin notched 12 points with 4 rebounds and 5 steals and Charlesworth “CJ” Georges finished with 11 points, 16 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks.

The overwhelmed Warrias got 13 points from Shakeem Blackmore, 11 points and a steal from Joash Victor and 10 points with 7 rebounds from Kaheem Clarence.

The first game of the evening had been forfeited by the Spartans as they failed to have a team ready at game time against Run It Red. Game 1 was forfeited by Spartans to Run It Red 2-0.

The final game of the night saw the Bayside Blazers bounce back to beat Talk Done 83-76.
