TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island,VI- Party lovers had a double reason to celebrate last evening, Sunday March 12, 2017 at Trellis Bay on Beef Island.

The breath-taking moon was in full effect and in light of Commonwealth Day the next day, today Monday March 13, 2017, being a holiday, no more cajoling was needed to have good ole’ fun into the wee hours of the morning.

The Too Smooth Band got the ball rolling with its oldie goldies, bringing an easy hips swaying from patrons as they joined in the singing of hits from the legendary Beres Hammond, and the late Bob Marley among others, from the Loose Mongoose end.

As the moon slowly made its way up, so did the flames from the fire ball and sea man, a signature of Aragon’s Art and Craft centre, and of the full moon parties.

Boats and vehicles loaded with people quickly turned the party mode up a notch and it was given an added boost with the fire dancers, Kiki and Neil's live performance, a real crowd pleaser.

They took the floor for about half an hour showing off their prowess with being able to dance with the flames and not get burned.

Musical entertainment from all genres came from DJ Dagger as he held his own and flipped the latest hits of the day and popular hits from yesteryear.

Up to today what happened in the last 72 hours is still on my mind. I'm driving into work and everytime a car pass me, I am saying in my mind, is that the killers. There are new killers walking around in our mist.

Enough of this nonsense about killers the news can report on more than one thing at a time!

Full moon is good. Its a good platform for local bands to deliver. Sad that the bands are not taking it serious and come ready...Put music first. Put the time in. Dance in unison.. Entertain.. Money will come.. Stop rushing the songs play tight.. Ten songs tight mix with entertainment is better than 30 songs rush and sound dead no entertainment..I'm at every full moon. I love it. Just my little advice...

I love the lighting of the ball but I rather loose mongoose their food is great and I love ringing the bell lol but where there is a good there is a bad. The service isn't all that great even on a none busy night. Certain staff members need to stay home if they feel like being at work. My server was I shana or something and she was okay but it's like she had all the tables so made it long for me to get my check and I had to go by the bar for my drink which then became a fight with them and the bar staff and Niel should talk to his staff about that because that a bad look they already have a lot of drama going on with ppl duty Landry being aired out even down to the owner and they always have some new worker even down to the cashier . I don't know her name but she was short and dark skin one min they had her cashing them on the floor I rather her as a server because she was friendly checked on us even though the food took long but she was always well mannered . They had a bigger girl cashing and she look like she was frustrated but I could imagine. The band wasn't all that too smooth always singing the same songs lol but other than that the food is good the bar staff is kinda fast and the new look is nice
