ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - On Friday February 16, 2018 the popular Fresh Radio Vybz show, formerly the International Morning Ride Show, officially aired on 90.9 FM on the Caribbean Broadcast Network (CBN), after being off the local radio frequency since Hurricane Irma ravaged the Virgin Islands on September 6, 2017. The show was; however, subsequently broadcast online from a studio in the United States where the host had relocated to following the hurricanes.

In an exclusive interview with host of the show Paul A. Peart aka ‘Gadiethz’, who has since returned to the Virgin Islands, he told our newsroom that his radio show will be aired on CBN until Zrod 103.7 FM is up and running, adding that he hopes to make it a regular scheduled programme.

"We are hoping that Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will be allotted to us on CBN, so we can get some points across," said Mr Peart.

He stated that the show is an interactive show based on the community, activities in the community, interviews and anything to deal with the development, and rebuilding of the Virgin Islands (VI).

He pointed out that the show will be pushing a more "Caribbean strong initiative".

The radio personality told our newsroom that persons can reach him on his social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram at Gadiethz Paul and Whatsapp at 260-209-8730.

The Fresh Radio Vybz show is sponsored by Caribbean Insurers Limited and persons can contact Mr Peart for available advertisements.

Still a part of the Zrod team” – Paul A. Peart

In a previous interview Mr Peart told our news site that he is still a part of the Zrod team.

He said, “Zrod is under construction and we are still working out the airing of the station. It’s all in the hands of Mr Rodney Herbert and I am still a part of the Zrod team. We did suffer a heavy destruction...”

The host is known to attract many politicians and other movers and shakers of the Territory, as well as international artists to his show, and is not afraid to touch on many controversial issues.

This man is a part of the problem in this country, he encourages the youth with outrageous, dangerous and hateful thought processes. He should have been kicked out a long time ago.

Why you all let this man back in the country to continue with this foolish talk show? He was just good in the USA where he was. People like him talking about rebuilding VI when he was probably one of the first to leave after the hurricane? He did not need VI then, VI do not need him now.

In other words he ran away leaving his fellow ZROD team members to do the rebuilding and then sneaked back in. I'm sure others in the team could have run away too but they stayed.

Why do we true patriotic BVIslanders and residents listen to people like this?
