WESTMORELAND, Jamaica - The Gleaner understands that they were killed early this morning (November 8, 2018) after gunmen invaded a lane in the community of Maizemore and opened fire on three houses.

The police's Corporate Communication Unit (CCU) confirmed that the killing occurred about 12:15.

The Little London police subsequently identified the four persons who were killed as 31-year-old mechanic, Howard Humes; 23-year-old Shavane Humes; 33-year-old farmer Paulton Humes, otherwise called ‘Dwight’; and 25-year-old Keneisha Wilson, all of Masemure Meadows in the parish.

The Gleaner understands that the victims are all from the same family.

Reports are that about 1:00 AM., the bodies of the four persons were found in their homes by a police team who responded to reports of gunfire in the community.

All bodies had multiple gunshot wounds. They were removed to the morgue.
