Four injured in head-on collision

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – Four persons, including two tourists, were injured following a head-on collision earlier this evening, April 12, 2014 when two vehicles collided in the vicinity of Sensus Gym in Sea Cows Bay.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 PM.

Details are sketchy at this time but reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online indicate that two tourists were being driven in a taxi heading towards Road Town when their vehicle collided with a Dodge jeep.

The driver of the taxi as well as the passengers and driver of the other vehicle all suffered injuries as a result of the collision.

Paramedics were called to the scene and the injured were rushed to the Peebles Hospital for emergency treatment. The full extent of the victims’ injuries is unclear at this time.

      Wa dangerous corner u a talk bout, da corner is fine it just have foolish drivers who dont do wa they should when going around any corner which is slowing down an keep their lane but want go fast an drift or try avoid a manhole cover in same area

        I agree. I drive there every day and there is always some idiot who think they don't have to obey driving rules and come into my lane all the time. When an obstacle is in your lane you are supposed to wait until the next land is clear to pass, but instead these idiots speed up trying to get past before you do. Every FREAKING day. Not just there, all over the place.

      How is a corner dangerous??? The corner sitting there minding it's own business.LOL..It's the idiot drivers who don't go slowly around and try to overtake another vehicle. They are too impatient. Common sense seems to be lacking in our drivers.
