Fmr VI resident Damian Lampkin found hanging from rope in SVG

PARK HILL, St. Vincent & the Grenadines- Virgin Islands News Online’s correspondent in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SGV) have confirmed with our news room that 26-year-old Damian Lampkin, who is originally from SVG but lived and went to school in the Virgin Islands, is dead.

According to our reporter, Mr Lampkin who moved back to his native country SVG about a year ago and lived in Park Hill area of the island was found on December 31, 2014 handing from a rope around his neck in the area of the Park Hill Playing Field.

The lifeless body of the young man was discovered around noon on Old Year’s day by residents in the area.

Mr Lampkin live in Hope Hill while residing in the Virgin Islands on the main island of Tortola and attended the Francis Lettsome Primary School in Greenland on the Eastern end of Tortola and also the Elmore Stoutt High School. He still has family in the Virgin Islands, including cousins and a stepfather.

The St Vincent police are still investigating the circumstances of his death and have not ruled out suicide.
