Legislators blame hurricanes on dramatic upsurge in deaths
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After the passage of hurricanes Irma and Maria, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) announced that there have only been five deaths due to the hurricanes, 4 as a result of Irma and 1 by Maria. Though that amount may be true it only represents those that died as a direct result of the hurricanes. To date many other persons have died in what we may call indirect relations to the hurricanes.
