USVI Governor to ‘consider’ Marijuana Bill

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI — As Senator Terence ‘Positive’ Nelson continues his incessant push to see the legalisation of some form of marijuana in the US Virgin Islands (USVI), he may find that Governor Kenneth E. Mapp, who Mr Nelson often clashes with on policy issues, is an unlikely ally of his ideas — if not the legislation themselves — as Mr Mapp hints that any measure would be heavily scrutinised by his administration before a final decision to approve or veto.
