Airport Expansion Project still on hold
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In order to continue the expansion of the runway at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport, the Government of the Virgin Islands (VI) is awaiting results that are to be retrieved from an underwater device that monitors waves and currents.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The waves and currents monitoring equipment are yet to be brought up from underwater so that the company hired by Government to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EPA) can retrieve the data that is crucial to the development of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport runway expansion.
