ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour Dr the Honourable Kedrick Pickering has announced the established of an Employment Unit within the Labour Department and added that the Department is now working on a policy where it must be the first place where jobs are advertised.

Hon. Pickering: The days of Petty Contracts for this & that are over!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour and the 7th district representative Dr. the Honourable Kedrick Pickering told the House of Assembly (HOA) today in the 2012 budget debate today March 22, that the days when people could have gotten petty contracts in "this and that" were over as the government does not have money to spend like that.
