Alleged laptop thief gets second chance
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A woman, who allegedly stole a laptop and was seen on surveillance camera with it in her possession, must have breathed a sigh of relief today November 14, 2011 after the Virtual Complaint indicated to the court that he was no longer willing to continue with the matter since he was scheduled to leave the Territory on Wednesday and that he wanted to give the defendant another chance.
Antiguan who allegedly stabbed wife to stand trial Nov. 21
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – An Antiguan man accused of trying to kill his wife is scheduled to stand trial on November 21, 2011 before a jury of his peers in the High Court.
Couple in abortion plot pleads guilty!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Akeem Richardson and Kandy James, a couple who tried to terminate the pregnancy of Mr. Richardson’s ex-girlfriend in 2010, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm and administering a poison or other noxious thing with the intent to procure a miscarriage when they appeared in the High Court this morning, Tuesday October 18, 2011.
