Female driver taken to hospital after SUV runs off road in SCB

SEA COWS BAY Tortola, VI- It was around 12:05 PM today, Monday May 29, 2017 that a lone female driver lost control of her small SUV and ran off the road and into a fence in the area close to Filipe Bar in Sea Cows Bay, on the main island of Tortola.
Passers-by rushed to her assistance and placed her on the side of the road before calling for an ambulance.
The woman was visibly shaken from the incident but it is not clear if she received any serious injury.
She was subsequently transported to Peebles Hospital by ambulance.
Police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the accident.
