ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In the midst of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, where every woman is urged to get regular check ups and hear the stories of many survivors, Charmaine R. Rosan-Bunbury, Virgin Islands Party (VIP) 2015 Candidate and a former Magistrate, is fighting for her life after being diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.

She is a wife and mother of three boys ages 18, 13 and 7.

The saddened family was told that Mrs Rosan-Bunbury's insurance would only cover 80 percent of her treatment, leaving the distraught family to find the other 20 percent.

The family, knowing that they could not raise the money alone, decided to create a GoFundMe account for the Attorney-at-Law.

Unsure of the total cost for Mrs Roasn-Bunbury's treatment, the family is hoping to raise $50,000 to ease their financial burden.

Since the account was created, $1,240 has been raised, a long where yet to go but still a start.

According to the GoFundMe account, Charmaine R. Rosan-Bunbury was rushed to hospital on Sunday October 1, 2017 following a spasm attack at her residence due to a severe back pain.

It further mentioned that a cat scan revealed that she developed legions on her spine and that indicated that the cancer has spread to her bones.

"I want her to never lose faith in God" - Hon Andrew A. Fahie

Meanwhile, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie, Opposition Leader and Virgin Islands Party Chairman, offered words of encouragement to his colleague in her difficult time.

He said, "I stand united with my sister and friend in this difficult moment and I want her to never lose faith in God because nothing is too hard or impossible for Him to do."

He continued, "With God's help we will soon "kill cancer" so that our people can continue to live a long and healthy life."

"Breast Cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. In addition, one in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer," according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Money to pump additional POISON in the body? Right? Ms. I suggest a total break down of your previous eating and living situations. Black seed oil along with raw vegetable diet, soursop juice even consuming the leaves of the soursop. Exercise like you training for an event. A gentlemen spoke about APRICOT seeds consuming daily yes that is good too.

God has nothing to do with this. If God did then she wouldn't have it in the 1st place.

So sorry. I am Aunt to two nieces who lost the fight to stage four breast cancer. One a little younger than you are and with children 15, 12, 4 and 2 years. It was really heart wrenching for the family.
I hate to hear of chemo or radiation. Seems to do more damage than good at that stage. Why not investigate Proton therapy. Said to treat the tumor itseft without damaging surrounding tissue with minimal side effects. Worth looking into. Do your research. Dr won't mention. You have to ask about it.
      Best wishes Mrs Baunbury.

There is a cure for cancer that the people of the Caribbean have unwittingly used for centuries.

Its called a PLANT BASED DIET.

Higher cancer rates among afro-caribbean populations show a direct correlation to adaptation of the "rich western diet" a diet high in meat and animal products. Animal products have been shown to have a direct influence on IGF-1 in humans, a hormone which basically promotes the growth of all tissues in the body, including cancer cells. This combined with the higher estrogen levels your body produces when you consume estradiols found in most animal products...causes problems.

Try to eat ONLY organic fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains. Especially fruits and veggies. Their antioxidants play a vital role in the inhibition of free radicals in your blood. Not to mention the hundreds of phytonutrients, too numerous to name, found in organic plant foods.

I could write an essay, but I won't. Eat soursop. Eat leafy greens. Eat frozen blueberries. And pray.
