ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Creightanya R. Brewley and Rhevaun Sprauve both came in on the heels of the territory’s top student Zora S. Williams at this academic year’s National School Leaving Examination, giving them the honour of 2015 Elmore Stoutt High School’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian respectively.
“I must offer special congratulations to the Valedictorians and Salutatorians who have excelled above and beyond, achieving Grade Point Averages as high as 4.3, with the top student of the Territory hailing from the BVI SDA School, with an overall percentage pass rate of 91.72%, followed closely by two students from the Elmore Stoutt High School with GPAs of 91.03% and 90.25%. Congratulations to Zora Williams, Creightanya Brewley and Rhevaun Sprauve,” said Minister for Education and Culture Hon Myron V. Walwyn in a Government Information Service press release.

Last night, June 18, 2015 at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall, the two top ESHS students were showered with gifts and trophies so many that their two young hands were not sufficient to hold them. It was the occasion of the ESHS Class of 2015 exiting evening held under the theme “Beyond Ordinary – Uniquely Changing Our World”.
Speeches were kept at a minimum with the acting Principal, Ms Sandy M. Underhill, giving a very brief welcoming address.
Minister for Education and Culture Hon Myron V. Walwyn and Minister for Communications and Works Hon Mark H. Vanterpool were scheduled to make remarks but this news site was informed that their absence was “unavoidable”. Hence, the night was shared among the students, their parents, loved ones, teachers and the school’s administration.
