Those scooter riders are dangerous. At times vehicles stop to allow pedestrians to cross and those scooter idiots zoom pass the vehicles with no regard to pedestrians crossing. They need to be fined heavily

Drivers do the same. One car stops and another flies pass without thought.. His bike is either illegal or uninsured, probably both.

All as a result of drivers stopping in the middle of traffic to let out passengers or talk with a friend. Drivers thinking they are king of the road and are more important than others. This results in other drivers passing stopped vehicles even where they shouldn't be. It is time for the law to come down hard on taxis and personal vehicles for holding up traffic. It is ridiculous and dangerous. Furthermore each and every scooter owner should be a qualified and licenced driver with insurance. Young kids with no responsibility or understanding of the rules of the road have been silently permitted to ride as they please. It is appalling that the interest is more into re-testing already licensed drivers many with drivers education courses and years of driving experience on well policed roads where nonsense like this is not tolerated. It makes far more sense to outlaw scooter driving and I initiate a riding school that ensures they have the skills to ride and knowledge of the road rules before they get out there swerving between traffic, passing in blind spots and putting themselves and everyone else in danger. This accident is the responsibility of the lawmakers and the police as well as the parents who buy these scooters and put their uninsured, unlicensed children out on the roads all for the sake of giving their teens autonomy and no longer being responsible for driving them around.

Take away his scooter cause he can't get another one SMH. How about finding the person driving the scooter and flog him eight (8) times. Eight times for the words I Am Sorry. Also community service. Then find the parents of the driver of the scooter and charge them a fine plus the victims hospital fee and money for the victims pain and suffering. I say charge the parents as it all starts from home.
BTW I mean BOTH parents whether married or single.

The cry by most people is for the POLICE to do something about the scooter riders, but when they do, the same police end up before the court and the scooter riders becomes the best riders in the place.
The Police yard full of scooters go and see for yourself.
You just don't know how to please you people. Some Scooter Riders and Vehicle Drivers are all in the same pot, THEY JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANY OTHER PERSONS USING THE ROAD.
