“Drain the swamp, get rid of every single NDP” – Julio S. Henry

-Says Constitution or Court will settle Mark H. Vanterpool's D4 saga
“We had a problem in this country for eight years, the last four years it has magnified itself under an NDP ruler, those were the head of the country, they set the tone, they set the behaviour, and they dictate what happen in the country,” Henry told co-host Kaream K. Pickering and guest Ramoamasagana Pemberton in a heated discussion during the March 26, 2019, edition of ‘Hard Talk’ on Tola Radio VI. Photo: VINO/File

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The recent happenings in the political area of the Virgin Islands (VI) over the seat of District 4 Representative-elect Mark H. Vanterpool is now a hot topic of discussion amongst social commentators and political pundits.

With the Speaker, Hon Julian Willock and the Governor, His Excellency Augustus J. U. Jaspert taking different positions on the matter, radio host Julio S. Henry says that while the constitution or courts will have the final say on Hon Vanterpool's seat, with regards to the other National Democratic Party (NDP) House of Assembly (HoA) members—which includes Hons Alvera Maduro-Caines & Opposition Leader Marlon A. Penn—he would love to see them all exit the political sphere.

Problems magnified

“We had a problem in this country for eight years, the last four years it has magnified itself under an NDP ruler, those were the head of the country, they set the tone, they set the behaviour, and they dictate what happen in the country,” Henry told co-host Kaream K. Pickering and guest Ramoamasagana Pemberton in a heated discussion during the March 26, 2019, edition of ‘Hard Talk’ on Tola Radio VI.

He further pointed to the culture of former Premier Dr D. Orlando Smith led NPD government in doing very little to maintain the territory with integrity and honesty which resulted in people of the territory adopting the same behaviour.

“If they were doing proper road maintenance and I see my little part to be done, I would have done it, but the main fact that they weren’t properly maintained… they weren’t honest, they weren’t doing the right things, why would I want to contribute to doing something good when they themselves aren’t doing nothing good,” he implored.

Drain Swamp

“Drain the swamp for me, get rid of every single NDP…. Nobody never though Myron would have ever lost, I personally would have loved to see Myron as the opposition by himself,” Henry said.

The ‘Hard Talk’ host further implored, “The swamp done get drain… we very happy right now… [but] we would have preferred to not have Mark Vanterpool to contend with as well.”

Julio S. Henry speaks with little intelligence and I hope the country do not take him as a serious individual. there must be a balance in having an opposition.

Nobody seemed to know that we need an opposition when NDP held 11 of the 13 seats.

Lets not forget that the VIP had the identical 11 of the 13 seats before too!

Also remember when VIP had 11 SEATS in the House and NDP had 2 and they use to make a mockery out of Drs. Smith and Pickering... This is the righteous Government and when the righteous rules we all will prosper. God please help us.

@ drain the swamp: the same national democratic party that help the man from going blind is the n d p that gone with millions and millions and millions of your tax money(what is the point)...I am confident eye care can not cost 7.2 million(it was & well and good to help one set of people and handed over 7.2 million)...the payment to help the young man from going blind can be recovered from his annual taxes: it is good to help others and forsake your own VI people: just putting that out there

Who says that he pays taxes? Most taxi drivers don't pay tax because its hard to determine how much money they really make. Sam is an opportunist, he runs to the side where he stands to benefit more on a personal level. Greedy ass Sam!!!

Politics / Government for most people is about food on the table ... They are good when the table is full with plenty and bad when the table has little or nothing ....Soon they are going to turn on ViP when the Cruiseships continue to cancel and their visits start to decrease ...Watch and wait ..If its one thing Mark and NDP must be given respect and credit For is to get the cruise ship industry Up and running and booming after those bad hurricanes ...Our Cruise ship industry is a Major Major part of the masses lively hood ...Cruise ships was never a VIP priority ... We will watch wait and see when they turn on VIP......

Can we just get on with the country and stop with this BS about politics and political parties. Its like Henry, Moff, Masa, Cindy and the rest don't have nothing to do with themselves now. The political season is over and they still trying to find things to make noise about to stay relevant. Just STHU! Jeez! And VINO your biasness is still showing. If this story was about draining the VIP, you would never have posted a story, but you seem too glad to post anything negative about other parties. STOP IT!

There are a lot of people like this one. When they continue to drain Govt' for their personal gain and when Govt' says enough is enough they turn against Govt'. People remember this, when this Govt' says to him enough is enough we cant give you anymore, he will start talking bad about them too. Just wait. These kinds are opportunists. Drain swamp because YOU wanted to drain OUR swamp. Crooked Bastard.
