ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Persons who were involved and witnessed a brawl last week in the community of Crabbe Lot aka "The Ghetto" said it was all about demanding and defending the people and the name of that community.

The fight which involved about six women was captured on camera and circulated allegedly by a resident of the community. "We want people know that we don't trouble nobody, we drink we rum, smoke we weed, and of course the life of a Ghetto is all about drugs, yes we do we thing but we don't disrespect anyone. People see we as the poorest of the poor but we rich in we lifestyle and nobody going come in here and be disrespecting we, you check," said one woman who spoke to this news site. She said she chipped in with a few kicks and cuff on a mother, her daughter and some of their friends.

Relating their (Ghetto girls) side of the story to this news site, another woman who asked only to be referred to as Girly said the incident stemmed from a woman hitting a Ghetto girl because she “simply jammed shoulders”.

"My girl, as the Father above know, my friend said she pass this lady going up a narrow space in a building and she choke she for that. Don't disrespect the Ghetto girls like that… yes we don't talk to she because her daughter and the same girl she choke got them issues for long and if we wanted to fight her daughter … that would have happen long time but we respect our ghetto and don't want no police coming up in here to mess up our business. But like they had another agenda but they see we not punks."

"Ghetto girls" did not want blood on their hands

Asked who won the fight, one of the women said, "There was no winner or no looser. The only winner is dem out there who saw the videos and got a lot of shit to say about our community and we caused that because if we had walked away they wouldn't have any video but at some point we got to send the message not to disrespect us in here. We got other ways we could have done the dance but we ain't want no stink blood on we hands, they not worth it and they woman like we with family and children they didn't trouble our man business or so was just a beef so we deal with it."

They were also asked if the police was summoned, "We didn't want that kind of attention all we want is for them to respect this place. We going to wah, waste court time with a simple little fight when the court got bigger things to handle? Nah my girl, we don't and didn't want that and like we tell you all we want is respect."

Okkk! Am I missing something? Girly stated they don't want no police coming in the Ghetto to mess up their business reasons why they should not have fought. But you just spread your entire Ghetto family dealings on the world wide web for the same police to come and raid. Not like anyone don't know what goes on in the Ghetto but you are contradicting yourself Girly.
