Disturbance 1 could become Cat 1 hurricane before passing VI- DDM

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The National Hurricane Centre is monitoring Disturbance 1/Invest 92 L and according to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM), residents should also closely monitor this disturbance as it has the potential to be a Category 1 hurricane before passing the Territory.

In addition, current forecast models have this system passing very close to the [British] Virgin Islands around Friday, July 31, 2020.

At 8:00AM Disturbance 1, according to DDM, was located near 11 degrees north, 36 degrees west, or about 1958 miles east southeast of the Virgin Islands.

The system is moving to the west near 20 mph and this is expected to take the system into the northern Windward or the Leeward Islands late Wednesday or on Thursday.

System could pass close to VI- DDM

While the system remains somewhat disorganised, there does appear to be a broad low level circulation present with this disturbance. Environmental conditions are expected to be somewhat favourable for development. In addition, all models forecast development. Forecasters have indicated there is a 90 percent chance of tropical development.

"Presently the current forecast track has the system passing very close to the Virgin Islands; however, the DDM will continue to monitor and provide updates of any changes."

      Its Civil servants all over including governments officials making this covid 19 relevant, they are on sure salaries so they going with the fake programme. They know its fake....They know its 5G related, but they getting their big salaries, so they are not affected..Not even a cat 5, a cat 2 is more dangerous than this 5G virus... They have we set up boss !!!.They are determined that we must take this vaccine... lol.. aint no joke but what can we do....

      BVI landers stuck abroad dont have money to pay charter boss , this long lock out got them broke, open the Port for BVIlanders nationals and belongers to come home and secure their properties boss...Peopke dont have money to charter plane and Jet boss..
