ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Digicel is again giving back to its customers as they celebrate six years in the British Virgin Islands with their Black Friday sale on Friday November 28th. Digicel has partnered with Samsung to offer up to 97% off smartphones, with the Road Town flagship store opening from 6am on Friday morning to cater for the demand to join the BVI’s bigger, better network. In addition this Christmas Digicel is rewarding over 1,000 weekly winners, with $100,000 in cash and prizes being given awa

Digicel is the people’s choice in the BVI, and in just six years has established itself as the most popular network in the territory due to its ongoing commitment to deliver the best value, the best service and the best network, while always giving back to the BVI community.

This year Digicel BVI supported the 60th Anniversary of festival with sponsorship of the festival village in Road Town while alsosigning local Fungi group, Razor Blades, as brand ambassadors and sponsoring the popular Miss Fifth Form pageant. Programs such as Kids and the Sea and Special Olympics have gained over the years since Digicel came to the territory while the telecommunications leader has also supported several organisations and national teams, such as the BVI Culinary Team as well as Tanisha Harrigan.

Finally the company has helped the less fortunate in the territory by supporting the Tree of Hands toy drive, and the Family Support Network during this important season. Digicel is also hosting an on-going Christmas tour that includes the Evelyn Roche Learning Centre as well as several other organisations that  support children in our  community.

In launching the Black Friday sale, Digicel BVI CEO, Conor Looney, stated “I would like to thank the entire Digicel team, based in Tortola and Virgin Gorda for their hard work over the last twelve months and wish them all the best for the coming year in ensuring we continue to deliver an extraordinary experience for all our customers across the BVI.”
