This is according to a statement issued on the evening of Friday, August 3, 2018, by the Virgin Islands’ (VI) Festival and Fairs Committee, announcing the cancellation of the Headliner’s performance.

According to the missive issued, “Dexta Daps will arrive in the Territory on Thursday, August 9 (2018), and will perform at the in the BVI Cultural Festiville at that time.”

Speaking to the cancellation of Friday’s performance, the release noted that persons who would have already purchased tickets for that performance, “will be able to use their tickets for entry into the Festiville on August 9 (2018).”

The statement said too the VI Festival and Fairs Committee “sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and we assure you that we will continuously strive to deliver the highest quality of performances to the Virgin Islands Community during the 2018 Emancipation Festivities.”
