Condom & napkin ‘greet’ members of the public @ Labour Dept
Two members of the public who had reason to visit the Labour Department today spoke to Virgin Islands News Online of the “embarrassing” sight of the items on the floor next to a front desk.
The condom and napkin remained on the floor for more than two hours and had not been removed up to around 2pm.
It is not clear how the items got there and why no one thought it fit to have them promptly removed.
Efforts to reach Acting Labour Commissioner Michelle A. McLean were futile up to time of publication.

Not much different than all the garbage on the side of road, especially outside of the schools. How many people walk past it, and do not pick it up?
It is time for everyone to have some pride in their surroundings, and in their country
I was in that area today ... it is an area where labour is dealing with all aspect of labour application like the flooded area downs stairs ... yes a temporary room... there were like 10 people in the little room with one officer processing, most people have to show a small 2x2 ticket with info. of your work so the officer could retrieve it quickly... like you said the condom was not open clearly showing it fell out of someone pocket while getting that ticket ...if you visit the office u would understand clearly
