CGB Church to address VI’s ‘Intimacy issues’

...with seminar to improve love life and reduce broken heartedness
Recognising that citizens of the Virgin Islands (VI) are struggling with intimacy issues, while others are breaking up or divorcing, the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church (CGBBC) is getting ready to attack what they call ‘spiritual emptiness and broken heartedness’ in the territory. Photo: VINO/File
Pastor Turnbull noted “that relationships, intimacy and sacredness are all intertwined and people often struggle with them. In addressing different areas, he said people would learn the power of sexual attraction; keys to a strong intimate bond; protecting trust, commitment and love in a lifelong sacred relationship; and spiritual intimacy with God and partner. CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI – Recognising that citizens of the Virgin Islands (VI) are struggling with intimacy issues—while others are breaking up or divorcing—the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church (CGBBC) is getting ready to attack what they call ‘spiritual emptiness and broken heartedness’ in the territory.

“To help improve the lives of couples, those divorced, engaged and single, the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church is hosting a Come Closer Intimacy and Relationship Seminar on March 27th and 28th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. nightly,” the church said in a press release dated March 16, 2019.

Collaboration

According to the release, the seminar is free and Senior Pastor, Dr Melvin A. Turnbull along with First Lady Marion M. Turnbull of the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church are teaming up with Dr Isaac James and Wendy Schaeffer to discuss the many ways people can improve their love life, grow their relationship and walk closer with God.

Age restricted

This seminar is for couples, divorced, engaged and even singles and due to the sensitive topics, it will be age restricted for age 17 and over

All I say I have nothing to tell you or any one because when we shut up in the house only who god him and my self knows and every one will see true colors and it happens and MR **** I hope you tell him how god want all of us to live and leave the judging to him I am so glad we have a heavenly judge these so call Sunday dress up is who does put down people instead of giving encouraging words.

I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to take marital advice from a church!

You only get one life, treat people the way you want to be treated, lead an honest, giving, loving loving life and if you're not happy or content with who you're with move on until you are.
It's 2019 - you don't have to stay in a relationship if it doesn't work anymore! Find one that does! Just make sure that your well-being & the well-being of others such as kids are top priority.
Life's too short to be praying to a pretend God for change or happiness. Make it happen yourself!
