Central Administration Complex to be rehabilitated
This, according to a Press Release from the Government Information Services (GIS) on Thursday, August 9, 2018, which noted that the proposals include “providing Consultancy Service for the Engineering and Architectural Design, Construction Supervision and Contract Management.”
It further stated that works will include the final cleaning and clearing of old mechanical, electrical and plumbing components, the design and refitting of office spaces, the design of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing; contract administration and construction supervision.
Bidding Process
Interested bidders looking to submit tenders are advised that they are required to furnish original certificates of Good Standing from the Director of the BVI Social Security Board, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue and the National Health Insurance.
They will also be required to “provide a valid Trade Licence and Certificates of Good Standing from the Commercial Registry—if the company is a registered agent.
Certificates should be dated no earlier than one month prior to the date of submission.
The release also advised that “Tender Documents are available upon request from the Chairman, Central Tenders Board, Ministry of Finance, Procurement Unit, Central Administrative Complex, Third Floor, East Atrium, Waterfront Drive, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.”
A Pre-Tender meeting is scheduled for Friday, August 24, 2018, in the Central Administration Complex, after which there will be a site visit.
