WINDY HILL, Tortola, VI – A lone vehicle was today May 18, 2019, involved in an accident in the Windy Hill area of Tortola, which led to the car narrowly landing on the roof of a nearby building.

In what was a major tragedy averted, the white motorcar ran off the road and landed on a portion of the roof of the building belonging to BananaKeet Café sometime after 8:00am, this morning.

While there were no reported fatalities, it is understood that one person allegedly sustained injuries, where passers-by were able to render some amount of assistance.

It is understood that the vehicle ran off the side of the road and hit the rocky curb, before narrowly hitting a small fraction of the roof of the restaurant.
