FAT HOGS BAY, Tortola, VI- Power supply in East End has been disrupted due to an accident in the area of Fat Hogs Bay, Tortola.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, at around 9:30pm on September 22, 2019, a car slammed into a utility pole, damaging powerlines.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the accident.

It is also not yet known what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.

More details will be provided as they come in.

    Surprised the power came back on so quickly. Good job BVIE Corp. Young man driving..stop acting a fool at high speed and only you know what else caused this accident.

    We have a lot of wells on the east roads. Lots of drivers have to run from them depending on the size vehicle . The roads are terrible. Forth hill and up to the entrance of bell view is also terrible. As usual here until something happens they will not get fixed. No proactive measures sorry to say.
