ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI-The BDO Primary School Football League closed out on Saturday June 15, 2013 with a series of games on Anegada and at the A.O. Shirley Ground, but with the championships decided the real action was for the golden boot awards.

In the Under 7's, Azarni Callwood had done just enough to pip team mate Alex Fountain by one goal to take the prize. Callwood notched 12 to Fountain's 11. Divon Jones of the Seven Day Adventists came third with 7.

In the Under 9's, Denvin Jones finished well ahead of his nearest rival with 22 goals. Jalen Prentice and Stephan Delon came joint second with 11 each.

In the Under 12's, Timothy Lewis edged out Guillaume Parkins with 21 goals to Parkins' 19. Stefano Tasking came third with 14.

In the Final League standings, Cedar School were the U-7 Champions after finishing with 31 points to the Seventh Day Adventist's and Cornerstone's 23.

Both Cedar and SDA went unbeaten during the season, but SDA's 5 draws cost them dearly in the final analysis.

In the Under 9's, the Seventh Day Adventists finished top with 25 points with Cedar and First Impressions tied for second on 24.

The Under 12 Division was won by Joyce Samuels Primary School with 40 points. In second were Cedar on 36 and third First Impressions on 35.

JSPS picked up 13 wins from 14 matches to be worthy winners of the league.

The final round of matches saw Althea Scatliffe beat St Georges 2-1 in the Under 12's with Phillip Jules giving the "home" side an early lead. Stephan Delon equalized in the second half, but almost on the final whistle up popped Marcus Butler to net the winner.

Over on Anegada, St Mary's made light work of Claudia Creque Primary U12's with a 4-0. Yash Banthia hit a double.

Claudia Creque bounced back, however, with a 3-0 win over Robinson O'Neal courtesy of goals from Samdy Williams, Jaden Dabreo and Sandra Williams.

The third game for Claudia Creque ended in a 0-0 deadlock with Cornerstone.
