ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Media Communications Professional, Bria A. Smith was crowned Miss BVI 2019 when the pageant was held at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town, Tortola on August 4, 2019.

Smith collected 6 of the 11 individual prizes on her way to being named Queen.

She won prizes for Miss Popularity, Best Costume, Best BVI promotion, Best Interview, Intellect and Poise.

First Runner Up, Shabree Frett collected awards for Miss Photogenic, Best Swimwear and Best Evening Wear.

Second Runner Up, Shamoia Maduro was named Miss Congeniality.

The prize for Best Talent was won by Conelda George.

The other contestant was Reba E. Thomas.

The Miss BVI 2019 Pageant was held under the theme Sovereign’s Sapphire Celebration.

The pageant is part of the 65th anniversary celebrations of the VI Emancipation Festival being coordinated through the Government and is separate from the Mrs BVI pageant which takes the territory to the international Mrs Globe stage.

    Sorry to say she was not to win and best evening Ware was to be contestant number 5 best talent number 5 it was not judged fairly

      Any fool saying this show was not judge fairly is either a fool, a wicked hater or just jealous. Ms Smith won hands down no serious debate on her win very very deserving

        When I think of ms Smith some things come to mind, grace, Poise, elegance, well spoken, bright and oh so beautiful.

        So proud of my home town girl and yes she is one of us local with both mother and father and grandparents from the bvi. Who vex vex it’s a FACT
