Bishop Cline condemns return of mystery posters to VI
The posters first appeared in 2016 going into 2017, in all sizes, shapes and depicted the sun, the moon, cats, dogs and the likes. Some residents alleged at night, the posters would glow and the eyes of the animals would glitter at sunset.
The Town and Country Planning Department and the City Manager, Janice E. L. Brathwaite-Edwards said then, their agencies were not aware of who was responsible for the posters nor had they granted permission for the erection of the signs.
The posters
The creative artwork came in all colours and also depicted ‘I love the BVI’ in heart shapes.
Then came the August floods of 2017 and the two category five hurricanes in September 2017 that destroyed the Territory, knocked all the trees and poles down, killed the economy, caused death, homelessness and destruction, resulting in many residents leaving the Virgin Islands (VI).
At the time, Bishop Cline had condemned the mystery posters and asked for the artiste to come forward. He even suggested they were demonic and evil.
Bad omen?
Late December of 2018, the mystery posters started to reappear with some depicting Christmas and cats. To date, no one came forward to claim responsibility for the artwork that can be seen on trees, utility poles and buildings.
Our newsroom is on the hunt to find the artiste and the meaning of the signs, as they have been condemned by Bishop Cline.
He is again suggesting that they are evil and bring negative energy to the VI.

If the designer/s of these posters are not up to mischief, I suggest that they come forward and let the public know what message they are actually trying to send. Otherwise, they are just showing all that they do not care about the impression that they are creating, which can only be translated as being negative energy.
So Bishop, you suppose to have enough power to deactivate the art if you think they have power. That's what a bishop does, not run to the media or social media. If they evil them disable them.
BVI people only loud mouth when they can be heard. So many ayo so hateful and evil to others, especially those who are not wealthy or prominent from other Caribbean islands as if God built BVI with diamonds. There are some very good local people there and I am thankful to have met them during the.many years I lived there bit hey, never seen a set of people so.quick to pull down their own like BVI people. Now youall fraid of some.wood cats nailed up to trees? Gimee a break.
To the man of the cloth, the Lord isn't going judge the person for benign up the art, but you better look into what really matters and look in the mirror
