WEST END, Tortola, VI- Guests of a relatively new villa at West End, Tortola, are still reeling from the sudden death of the property owner as, according to them, he had not shown any signs of not being well the day prior.

Dead is Mark Schwartz, 47, a native of the United States of America.

He is known to have been a visitor to the Virgin Islands (VI) for over 20 years and owned the Villa Paradiso in Belmont Estate.

According to reports reaching our news centre, guests of Mr Schwartz became worried when he did not come out of his apartment on the morning of May 2, 2020.

Police summoned

The guests then reportedly summoned the police, who had to break into his apartment as Mr Schwartz was observed motionless on his bed.

VINO understands that the 47-year-old and three other persons spent the day before cooking, eating and watching television until close to midnight, after which they all retired for the night.

The following day, after not seeing or hearing from him, a check was made at the apartment at the villa when they suspected something was seriously wrong and raised an alarm.

His guests and those who knew him well are said to be surprised at his sudden death as, according to them, he was not a heavy drinker and they were not aware of him having any medical issues.

No marks of violence were found on his body, according to police.

This is trie but viruses dont last long in the body after death. If the virus caused lung damage then they should check his lungs. If he had no asthma and was not a smoker and should distress in his lungs then..........

FYI I am not a doctor ..... But it was nice trying :)

I honestly believe all those that died suddenly at home should have been tested. Just my thought.

Remember the virus doesn’t show signs or symptoms sometimes it get down in your lungs and develop pneumonia. Not saying he had it but stop thinking if you only show signs of symptoms you have it..

Here is my rational for opening up....If we open tomorrow or open next year, the challenges will be the same,. We can open tomorrow and get a positive case the next day.. We can open up next year and get a positive case the next day.. So it makes sense we ooen up ASAP and fix, adjust, addresss as we go along.... Apply Wisdom.

Little Statia Island have 3 cases and they are open up internally,.. their school will be opening up on Monday.....These are Smart leaders, They understand the longer u lock down, the deeper the country sink... They are finding away to move forward. Its easy for them to shut down and blame the virus like we are doing..They are pressing forward.. I heard Little Anguilla with one case is fully open...I also heard that St Kitts with 13 cases have 4 full days of free movements and operation and looking to add another day....Why r we keep looking for excuses to lock down and burrying our economy with just 4 positive cases,
