Andre Penn to serve 10 years for sexually assaulting girl
On the seven counts of indecent assault the Judge imposed a 3-year sentence each, on the one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with girl under 13 years he got 8 years and on the two counts of buggery 4 years each.
The judge then ordered that the three categories of the sentences run concurrently which put the total years to 15 years.
The bitter news to the young girl who is now 17 years old, her caregivers and others concerned was when the Judge stated that in law he had to consider the number of years the trial hung over the head of the defendant, Penn, and as such he reduced the time to be spent by 5 years. One year was deducted from the combined seven indecent assault sentences, three years removed from the unlawful sexual intercourse against a girl under 13 years sentence and one year was removed from the combined two buggery sentences.

Once out of the courtroom the pain could have been clearly seen on the face of the now 17 year old as she repeatedly questioned her present day caregivers "Why?" while others could not contain themselves as they made several utterances.
Those included, "Penn get away with murder," "Look how they (Penn’s relatives) smiling," "this trial needed Albert Redhead," "The law don't have a clue what this child lives with and will for the rest of her life," just to mention a few.
The judge's sentences are to take into consideration the time Penn has already spent on remand.

Jail sometimes is the worst option & cause more damage than good.
Some just need help.

As he summed up the case, Justice Ramdhani took issue with a suggestion made by Penn’s attorney, Jerome Lynch (QC). The defence lawyer had told the court to consider as a mitigating factor, evidence that the female minor consented in some instances – though not legally."
So the court should consider that the minor consented in "some instances"- so he was going on the girl all the time. That's a child, regardless of anything. You are the man here and you shouldn't even let a child see you in your vest much less. Respect yourself man
