The BVI has a lot to offer, but as you say overcrowded beaches, waters full of cruise ship effluent and our politicians think that the head tax makes up for that! On top of that the cruise ships get a discount on head tax! Could you imagine? Cruise ships only really benefit the taximen, the beach chair vendors (who are not Virgin Islanders) and a couple of restaurants. Imagine Speedy's would leave their regular customers who need to get to work STRANDED for Cruise Ship passengers. Enough of them!
