7-mth baby rushed to VG clinic dies

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Police are confirming the sudden death of a seven-month-old male in Virgin Gorda.

The infant, Kamron Philbert Jr., was pronounced dead Monday morning, April 13, 2015 after arriving unresponsive to the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic. Efforts to resuscitate him by Clinic personnel were futile.

Inquiries indicate that he had received treatment over the weekend for fever and vomiting. The cause of death is to be determined.

The Coroner’s Office has been informed.

    My heart is hurting for the parents.. so sorry for the lost and may they find peace.

    Will the cause of death be public? I'm sure it will be beneficial for parents to know; especially if it had to do with the medication given.
