VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI - ‎Krystino Vialvaa Krys, Paul Bridgelall, Nicholas Alphonso aka Nicko and Rhodney Beharry aka Trini shared the cash prize of $2,000 in one of the biggest car sound-offs on Virgin Gorda on June 28, 2015.

The event was a Pre-Territory Day celebration organised and executed by DeCrew, a group of Guyanese who have been contributing socially to the VI, the place they now call home.

It was a grand barbecue, car sound-off, fashion show and family fun day held on the grounds of Mine Shaft at Virgin Gorda.

One of the organisers, Mr Sherwin A. Peters, said the event has become an annual activity of DeCrew, which includes himself, Mr Rayon D. Bethune and the newest member of the team Mr Isaac Ragnauth.

It's the first time they took the event to Virgin Gorda and, according to Bethune, "We were very pleased with the support we had from all those who came out. It was very nice to see that persons travelled from Tortola, Jost Van Dyke and even Anegada to be there."

"As little as it may seem it did something to the tourism sector of the BVI and played a role in allowing people from various places, cultures, and norms to blend in nature's little secret as one people," added Ragnaugh.

The car sound-off was the main feature of the event and ‎taking the ‎2nd prize in the 'small category' was Paul Bridgelall aka Frankie‎. The 1st place prize in that category went to Krystino Vialva Krys. The 2nd place prize in the 'big category' went to Nicholas Alphonso aka ‘Nicko’‎ and 1st place went to Rodney Beharry aka ‘Trini‎’.

You are so foolish! You should be happy that they are doing things in your community and giving people a place to go and have some fun. These people are contributing to the economy... perhaps more than you. You are an Id!8t!
