20 active COVID-19 cases in VI

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands is reporting 20 active cases of COVID-19, six up since the last update of January 14, 2021.

According to the territory's epidemiological summary released today, January 20, 2021, 10 of the active cases are on Tortola and 10 on Virgin Gorda.

The total number of confirmed cases is now 130, with 109 recovered. The territory had one death from COVID-19.

Some 17, 673 persons (17, 690 samples) have now been tested at the Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital Laboratory in Road Town, Tortola.

Of the 20 active cases, 1 has been classified as mildly symptomatic and the others asymptomatic.

All active cases and their close contacts are quarantine, Government assured.

      April - Hospitals unable to cope/ Covid vaccine should be available everywhere

      June - Shops running out of supplies/ Local protest/ Army check points in each town

      July - National civil unrest takes off/ local governments starts pulling out/ COVID-21 vaccine developed

      August - Early plans for new government structure/ One world government

      September- All debts cancelled if you get vaccinated

      October - Introduction of covid passports/ only those vaccinated can work and travel

      November - Covid 19 and Covid 21 vaccine becomes mandatory

      December - Covid passport changes name to health passport and becomes to normal way of life

      No they werent out in public. they caught the virus and before they knew they had it they lock themself in a cabinet. Then the announcement came out that they positive. They only spread it to themself. Best answer I can give to the best question

    This should not be about the number of cases, but the number of persons hospitalized. Overwhelming the hospital is what we are trying to avoid. So far we have only had two hospitalized and one survived. The response to COVID has been poorly executed.
