Go back to farming and stop being so lazy and stop blaming the Government. There is jobs but you all want big money fast. When the outsiders come and get the jobs that you all turn up your noses at you say they are taking the jobs. Stop being so damn lazy and making excuses for bad behavior.

You can't be serious. On what planet is drug smuggling an honest living? You must be an up-and-coming smuggler yourself why you see nothing wrong with this type of activity. And leave politics out of this because this is not the forum for that crap.

Nobody like to see others fall but this crime is worth the time. Who don't hear will feel. Since you so feel they doing honest work why don't you go Venezuela and protest their release.

Best that they can do is try to stick together and make the best of it. There is no place like home.

Easy money comes at risks one has to accept. Problem is here in the BVIs those risks have little consequence (sentences here are way more lenient than in the US for example) and people forget that elsewhere they take bulk smuggling way more seriously. Difficult situation for the accused. A life time in an overcrowded, brutal Venezuelan prison that might be just bearable if you have a steady supply of money to buy your way through for 20+ years but still not home and still in a cage, or spill the beans, come home, and always be looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life? They probably weren't thinking about that when they were counting the money they were allegedly found with. Can't do the time? Then don't do the crime is the reminder here.

I don't think the ppl who claiming others rejoicing in these guys downfall really & truly understand what's being said. No it's more along the lines of "THEY F****D!!!". Venezuela? Hello that ain Tola hotel on the hill where you get to roam around in your white tees & jeans & get your hair plait up noooo those places are real hell holes & it's one or two things you end up doing which would be toughing it out for however long you there & pray you live to see civilization again, or you end your own life....that is the reality of the situation.

So true, you have to fight for survival in a Venezuela jail. What ever you went in there with on your back that is what you will be wearing for the rest of your stay if the other prisoners don't take it from you. Those guys got caught up in some heavy stuff. They better hope the drug and money connect is not in that prison.
    • SB (15/03/2016, 13:09) Like (3) Dislike (2) Reply
Not for the MEEK. Let us say you have good fighting skill maaan you still have to sleep. But aslong as bigs got paper he can smooth his transition. I don't think this man was BAD N HUNGRY.

Finally someone who truly knows about Venezuela's prison, I don't think these guys here understand Venezuelan prison system, otherwise they would stay clear of the V. They essentially throw you in and you fend for yourself. All they care about is you don't come out, the officials have no care for your well being on the inside. It's basically like Mexican prison system, the guards keep you in the hell hole but the gangs run inside. In what other prisons you known the prisoners have more guns than the guards?

Imagine people from Venezuela aren't trying to go back under any circumstances, not even for a visit. They kidnap people get the ransom money and still kill the victims.

As a mother, I am not going to rejoice or bash these men. God be with them is all I will say.

Not the first (or the last) that someone from the BVI has been arrested for drugs in Venezuela. You like taking risks? Well you better start studying geography and the politics of some of the countries you willing to play risk with because that country 'deh doan play around'.

I dedicate this record the carnival to all you brothers takin' long trips
Down south, Virginia, Baltimore all round the world
And your girl gets this message that you ain't comin' back
She sittin' back in her room, da lights is off
She's cryin', and then my voice comes in pow
In the middle of the night and this is what I tell her for you

Every time I make a run, girl you turn around and cry
I ask myself why, oh why?
    See you must understand I can't work a 9 to 5
So I'll be gone till November

Said I'll be gone till November, I'll be gone till November
Yo tell my girl I'll be gone till November, I'll be gone till November
I'll be gone 'til November, yo tell my girl yo I'll be gone till November

    January, February, March, April, May
I see you cryin' but girl I can't stay
I'll be gone till November, I'll be gone till November
And give a kiss to my mother

When I come back, there'll be no need to clock
I'll have enough money to buy out blocks

You guys sure sound like you all been there. Venezuela is one of the rougher prisons just like St. Kitts. But its prison they'll adapt make friends learn Spanish and do their time. On here it sure sounds like torture 24/7s. I agree its not at all hospitable but you guys don't know.. TV shows you the worst of everything. They'll be ok. You pray for brother at all times in good times and in bad that he be a better person. I see why society so, got a lot of evil hearts up in this place wishing bad on others. However calling themselves Godly. Do you know God ain't rejoicing?

A true hustler always work alone, keeps his lips sealed and never let the right hand know what the left hand is doing. A true hustler never flashes his wealth,A true hustler can afford to drive a Lamborghini but he drives a Hooptee
Instead. Not condoning what is going on but if you are going to play the hustler thing you better know what time it is.

Another thing, a true hustler always keep a 9-5 even if he is making that paper. See, you young bucks want every thing the easy fast way that is one of the main reasons you all always get got in the end.
