Police officers can be stern, but at the same time act humane.
It is sad to read this article, but at the same time the charges may be were too much in favour of the civilian.
Let us see how it works out.

In the BVI Police officers are guilty until proven innocent. This is an allegation and already you can see the direction of the was the people are thinking. someone who was allegedly assaulted by the police is a jerk who is always threatening people.I had a personal encounter with him when he threaten to cut my throat in the presence of witnesses.I understand that he was also deported for killing someone in St Croix. This is no excuse for officers to assault anyone but it is also alleged that he threaten the officer assaulted them, made use of abusive language and as far as I know all those offences the police has powers to arrest. What is strange to me is that I understand that there are several charges laid against the complainant and if this incident did occurred several months ago when did the complainant file the complaint against the officers. also why are these officers placed on suspension even before the criminal charges against the individual goes to trial? what if he is found guilty? The Management of the RVIPF always putting the cart before the horse ,lol
Did the officers prepare and file their report ?
Or is there a personal agenda ?
