2 accidents moments apart @ Wickham's Cay II

WICKHAM'S CAY II, Tortola, VI- Traffic on the dual carriageway at Wickham's Cay II was backed up for some time following two accidents moments apart this afternoon, July 20, 2016.

According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the first accident occurred some time after 4: 00 P.M. involving two vehicles.

A white van was reportedly exiting on to the main road near Kenny Tees when it collided with an SUV.

There were reportedly no injuries. Police were summoned to the scene and proceeded to clear the road of the two vehicles.

Minutes apart, and about 15 yards from the first incident, a motor scooter became involved in an accident.

The circumstances surrounding that accident remains unclear.

It is also unclear what is the condition of the motor scooter rider.
