This is according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), via its Arrest Blotter for the period June 30, 2019, to July 6, 2019

The 17-year-old male was arrested and charged on July 7, 2019, and was granted bail to the sum of $10,000.

Unlawful possession of a controlled drug

July 1, 2019, Police arrested and charged Menford Miller, 52 of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the amount of $5000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on August 8, 2019, at 09:00hrs.

Assault occasioning actual bodily harm

On July 4, 2019, Police arrested and charged Wilkins Ramirez, 34 of West End for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $5000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on August 18, 2019, at 09;00hrs

Sexual Intercourse with a girl under 13 years

On July 7, 2019, Police arrested and charged a 17-year-old male for Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Girl Under 13 years. He was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 12-09-19 at 0900hrs.

Sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 years

On July 5, 2019, Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old male with 2 counts of Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Girl Under 16 Years and Theft. He was granted bail in the amount of $30,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on September 17, 2019, at 09:00hrs.

Criminal Damage

On July 5, 2019, Police arrested and charged Rico Penn, 29 of Free Bottom for Criminal Damage and Threatening Language. He was granted bail in the amount of $5000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 25-09-19 at 0900hrs

Taking Conveyance

On July 3, 2019, Police arrested and charged Elijah Douglas, 20 of Sea Cow’s Bay for Taking Conveyance Without Lawful Authority, Driving Without Driver’s License and Driving When Not Covered by Policy of Insurance.

He was granted bail in the amount of $5000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on September 9, 2019, at 09:00hrs.

Failure to comply

On July 6, 2019, Police arrested and charged Damani Henley, 20 of Cane Garden Bay for Failure to Comply with an Order Given by Police, Driving Without Driver’s License, Driving Unlicensed Vehicle and Driving uninsured Vehicle. He was granted bail in the amount of $5000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on August 25, 2019, at 09:00hrs.
