$15k bail for Horse Path man allegedly found with Cannabis

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A resident of Horse Path has been slapped with $15,000 bail after being charged by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) for alleged Cannabis related offenses.

According to the RVIPF Arrest Blotter for the period July 7-13, 2019, on July 9, 2019 at 06:05pm, Police arrested and charged Devonte Furlonge, 21, of Horse Path for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.

He was granted bail in the amount of $15,000 and is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 09:00am.

ATTEMPTED MURDER

On July 12, 2019 at 10:00am, Police arrested and charged Callique Collins, 25 of Greenland for Attempted Murder. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the amount of $90,000 with one signed surety to reappear before the Magistrate’s Court on September 26, 2019.

THEFT

  1. On July 8, 2019 at 13:30pm, Police arrested and charged Seantroy Hanley, 30 of East End for Theft. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on October 23, 2019 at 09:00am.

 

  1. On July 10, 2019 at 12:25pm, Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old male of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Theft. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on September 17, 2019 at 09:00am.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On July 10, 2019 at 08:21am, Police arrested and charged Dwight Callwood, 39 of Cane Garden Bay for Criminal Damage. He was granted bail in the amount of $3,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on October 23, 2019 at 09:00am.

    I actually live to see the day in the British Virgin Islands were a man gets 2 years for taking a television set while another man got 6 years for take the life of another(go figure)
