CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - Ashley Warner, 54, of Tortola, was sentenced today, December 6, 2018, in District Court before District Court Judge Curtis V. Gomez, to conspiracy and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, United States Attorney, Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced.

District Court Judge Gomez sentenced Warner to 120 months followed by five years’ supervised release. Judge Gomez additionally ordered that Warner pay a $200 special assessment.

According to court documents, Warner was stopped by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Cyril E. King airport after it was discovered that he was attempting to smuggle 10 kilograms of cocaine through the airport to the U.S. mainland in coolers.

The white powdery substance discovered inside the coolers tested positive for cocaine and weighed approximately 10 kilograms.

The case was investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sigrid M. Tejo-Sprotte.

God is everyone judge and everyone have committed Sin so instead of always ready to judge even though the facts are there we need to get on our knees and pray because none of us knows when it will be one of us....yes it is wrong but we all have done Wrong let us pray let us call upon God to guide us Spirituality....There is no Perfect persons....Last year we were hits by two serious hurricanes but a lot of us has gone right back to old habits but God is going to wake us up again and this time we wouldn't have time to be judging we would be face with our backs up against a wall so please lets all try to Love and Pray for each others for Jesus is coming soon....Our Governments, schools, churches, homes and especially our Lives need Prayers and we need to be washed in the Precious Blood of our Lord and Saviour......If we read 2 Chronicles 7:14 we would try to look within ourselves then we would know that we are all Love be Jesus Christ EVEN though we have SINNED because we really don't deserved His GRACE nor MERCIES....please STOP being so QUICK to JUDGE because when we speak evil about OTHERS we are speaking about OURSELVES.....WE ARE NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE.....God says that HE LOVED THE WHOLE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTON SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE......SO LETS ALL SHOW LOVE AND GIVE LOVE......

I wouldn't come on here and bash nobody. My friend and neighbor for many years, we grew up together and a decent guy and family. Made a wrong choice and now has to suffer the consequences. Let us all learn to leave illegal stuff alone, and don't worry about what we see other people have.
