‘Your sexuality is by God's design’- Sandra Phillip-Hodge
Phillip-Hodge’s statement, made in a Facebook commentary today, June 23, 2026, comes at a time when the United Kingdom (UK) has signalled its intention to have the issue of same-sex marriage discussed during constitutional negotiations beginning next month.
“You may have been told that you can do what you want with your body; you may have been influenced by the media, or friends and acquaintances who practice a lifestyle contrary to the design of the Creator of our wonderfully made bodies. But it's not too late to come back to reason and logic,” Phillip-Hodge commented.
‘Protect your sexuality’
The prayer warrior urged persons in the Virgin Islands to protect their sexuality as they protect any other aspect of their life.
“Protect your mind from such things as promiscuity, pornography, the alphabet culture (LGBTQ) fornication, prostitution and adultery. Ask God to deliver you from any of these unclean spirits, and be free to be a vessel of honour. May the Holy Spirit empower you in Jesus' name. Amen!” Phillip-Hodge admonished.
During the first public engagement session ahead of negotiations with the UK, on May 5, 2026, the team was asked about the issue of same sex marriage and whether the UK’s pro-same sex marriage position could be imposed on the VI. Same sex marriage is currently illegal in the VI.
Premier Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) confirmed, “We know, of course, that’s an issue that is going to come up. That’s an issue they have already signalled will come up, and we’ll have a discussion.”
The Premier said the VI’s negotiating team has a position and the UK’s negotiating team will have theirs.
Dr Wheatley has also said the government is working towards recognising civil partnership for same-sex couples; however, same-sex marriage will remain illegal in the territory.

Sandra Phillips, I am in full agreement with you on the critical topic. It is not to late for some. The decision has already been made. The UK will enacted same-sex marriage into the British Virgin Islands laws within no more than two to three years, possibly before.
This is factual. A number of the British Virgin Islands have been and continuing being practicing antimanism. and lesbianisism daily. The UK government knows this ongoing behaviors, and the UK has not laws against same, but rather embraced same. But to the contrary the VI people also practice the same, but rerely stands up against. The UK is in fact the owner, politically speaking, of the VI, contrary to our yap yapping Premier that the UK is a colonizer.
There is a aaying that ،you cannot have his cake, and eak it. I say to you, and all those that will receive this truth. If you don't eat your cake, others will eat it ot it will spoiled, and be waisted to cake dust.
The truth is that the British Virgin Islands people are experiencing a high level of division, as is in the rest of this world people's are experiencing. Until the fulness of grace be accepted to abound among the people of the British, corrupt behavior will continue to our disapproval.

Same gender result is depopulation
Its clear to see the right direction, not only for humans but animals to. Seems like animals more loyal to nature than humans.
If she knew anyone from youth, either friend or relation, who was homosexual, she would know this is not a choice. Who would choose to be someway that so many people in the world (yes, even those calling themselves Christian) despise, fear and judge as perverted or sick? Who would choose to be someway that would lose them the love and acceptance of parents, community?
It’s not a fashion, or a choice. It just is for some people, the way they are born.
I would choose to love people, as they are. And support them. And not judge them. Protect them from harm by those who fear them, or feel intimidated by their existence as “other”.
Christ said “love one another as I have loved you”.
Christ’s love was non-judgemental, and accepting of those who were feared as “other”.

Beloved, remind yourself that you are " wonderfully made"
(see Psalm 139:14), and give God thanks. He made us for the purpose of giving Him glory.
Your sexuality is by God's design. Men and women are made to complete or complement each other. Don't be deceived by the doctrine of sexual perversion and disobedience to God's Word.
You may have been told that you can do what you want with your body; you may have been influenced by the media, or friends and acquaintances who practice a lifestyle contrary to the design of the Creator of our wonderfully made bodies.

The sinful nature of Adam's fallen race, brought about various forms of perversions that have taken man away from God's original plan. But the goodness of God provides for redemption and restoration.
We are born in sin, but don't have to die in it.
