HANNAH'S ESTATE, Tortola, VI - A woman was rushed to Peebles Hospital in excruciating pains following an accident at Hannah's Estate sometime yesterday morning, October 20, 2015.

The details surrounding the accident are sketchy but, according to reports, a couple was driving along an elevated roadway when the vehicle started toppling.

Virgin Islands News Online was told that there were two persons in the vehicle at the time but one of them, a male, managed to exit the toppling vehicle and escaped with little to no injuries.

The female, a Jamacia national, remained trapped as the vehicle toppled several feet off the side of the road.

She was rushed to Peebles Hospital where she was reportedly wailing in pain.

The incident was confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

“The lone traffic accident did take place around 7am in the Hannah’s Estate area. Driver was taken to hospital where she continues to be treated,” stated Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
