Yes, I complained to a policeman about the same incident. They need to arrest him because this is the middle of town. I am so afraid to walk there because every time I go, the dog tries to attack me.

The owner of the dog should be held responsible. I am a responsible dog owner and my dog is always well contained. If my dog is out on the public road for a walk he is has on a leash attached to a harness so I can control things like this from happening. Don’t blame the dogs, blame and go after the irresponsible dog owners. If one don’t know how to contain their dogs, then don’t have a dog.

Thank you, I as well is a dog owner who is very responsible for my dog. If my dog is allowed out of the yard he is also leashed up and is accompanied by my husband or son on his daily walks. If he do his business while on his walks it is also our responsibility to pick up in a plastic bag, tied up and discard.

The owner of the dog should be made to cover all the lady’s medical expenses and slap with a heavy fine. I am only being fair. If my dog happens to be on the public road and my dog bite someone, of course I am the one that is liable.

Considering who the owner is he just might to avoid his name being plastered. Ppl already know anyway so he cant hide. As to the fine he more than likely wont see that happening to him

Last night around 11;35pm i saw a black, fierce looking pit-bull in Johnson Ghut, on that hill that you drive to go to Long Trench. The owner of that pit-bull needs to tie him ASAP.

That poor dog is just left there all day and night. She sleeps under a car and wanders around a bit. She doesn’t need tying up. She needs to be removed and given to a loving home. From her teets, you can see she’s obviously been used for breeding previously. She’s not cared for. Just left there. People like this do not deserve dogs.

That dog is harmless, the dog just needs a loving home. They use the dog for breeding purposes only and don’t care if the dog eats or sleep. I was hoping the local pet shelter would find this dog and have her fix and put up for adoption so the poor dog can escape the cruelty.

Some of you are so darn fast to run your mouth , but can't freaking read and understand the person was talking about ANOTHER DOG!!!

The dog wasn’t out on the public road, he was contained in the yard which is fenced. The gate was slightly opened when someone was going in and he squeezed himself out. He frightened the lady and she fell on her back.

All this over exaggeration isn’t necessary. It is my understanding the owner took the lady to the hospital , stayed with her and paid for her medical expenses. The same day the lady went to Maria’s by the sea after she left the hospital to have breakfast with her friends. The owner of the dog also paid that bill.

Now 2 weeks later this. Their are so many stray dogs that’ are aggressive walking on the public road attacking persons, but because the last name lake is involve here we go!!

Get your F'ING facts straight!!!!!!! The dog is unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured. The woman has a bitten calf and a fractured spine from the event and will be on her back for months. She will be lucky if she doesn't have future complications. So he took her to hospital and paid for food. What the Hell!!!!!!! The dog owner and his mother think they can do as they like. The dog needs to be put to F"ING sleep!!!!

I would not have known the last name of the owner until I read your post.
Seems like only you making the last name an issue.

The lady is back in the hospital due to THAT fall caused by THAT dog. Do I hear more bills? Guess you are either his friend or family, therefore you knew what, where and when.

The reason why he should be punished is that he was notified that the dog is getting very aggressive and continuously attempts to get out under the fence. His response was very nonchalant.

You sure right. That damn dog tried to attack me. Why would anyone have such vicious dog unleashed, knowing their fence is unsecured and most times the gate is opened? Unfortunately, the dog did what it might have been trained to do or it might have been it's natural instinct as 'wild' animal. I believe it might be a criminal offense for that dog not being put to sleep, after what transpired. Unfortunately, it bit a cr**in** la***r, however they would know what recourse to take matters further. Wishing them a speedy recovery!

I would say there are a lot of responsible dog owners. There is no way I am going to allow my dog to roam around freely like that. It is not the dogs fault. Most of the dogs is attacking livestock due to the fact that the irresponsible owners is not properly feeding their dog(s). After all, one knows what it feels like when one is hungry.

Certain breeds of dogs are naturally and extremely vicious. Such breeds should be banned as is the case in some
countries. Suppose the victim was a little child and no one else was around at the time of the attack. She might have
been killed. Why does any one need such a dangerous animal anyway?

Pitbulls are not known to be aggressive dogs for your clarification. It's how they are trained and treated. They are the sweetest dogs you would ever encounter.

I figured this would happen. When I first saw them I was a bit confused as to WHY dogs were needed. They rushed the fence every time someone walks by. it's in the heart of town, camera's would suffice. Wa inside there? Gold?

Its so unfortunate that she been attacked and bitten by that dog, it would make one to believe that it's a vicious dog and need to be remove from the streets.
And on the flip side of things, the dogs are patroling the streets more than the police who are been paid to do it, sad.
