Willock calls for museum & park in District 3
The call follows his recent visit to the Sea Cows Bay Heritage Group Mini Museum Day Exhibition, which took place from May 18 to 22, 2026, at the Old Methodist Chapel.
Willock advocates for betterment of District 3
Mr Willock, who continues to propose ways to help his community, posted on his Facebook page about his visit to the exhibition. He noted that he and two members of his District 3 Committee were moved by the variety of items on display that beautifully captured the history of the community.
According to a press release, Mr Willock is the first political candidate this season to advocate for the construction of a museum in District 3. "If the good residents of District Three elect him to the House of Assembly, he will seek to have an extension added to the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre dedicated to preserving the rich history of District 3 and its contributions to the territory," the release stated.
Currently, there is no permanent, standalone public museum directly in Sea Cows Bay. However, the Sea Cows Bay Heritage Group occasionally hosts 'Museum Day' mini-exhibitions in the area showcasing 18th-century artefacts.
Development of a park
The release added that Mr Willock also envisions the development of a park in District 3 where people of all ages can relax, unwind, and enjoy time with their children and families.
The press release further highlighted that, for the past four years, Mr Willock has been a vocal advocate for improved water services, better roads, and other infrastructure enhancements that improve the quality of life for all residents, as well as the reinstatement of the senior citizens program. However, the release stated that the government of Premier Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) is currently addressing water supply and road rehabilitation in District 3.

Why only district 3 and not in all 9 district of the British Virgin Islands, former Speaker of the House, Mr. Julian Willock. We all living in a world of dependency on God and human beings needing others for survival and other support. Politicians by large are very selfishminded actors believing that they deserved the male lion''s share of the catch or stolen prize.
Museums are educational learning centers. All of the people of all 9 districts should benefit from higher leaning, but before then greediness political leaders must be force out of office coming next general elections in the British Virgin Islands.
He has no clue on how government works
Willock on point
Willock the district needs a library before a museum! The district needs mentors - not part-time ones.
