‘We will not stop until all people enjoy basic necessities’- Julian Willock
Mr Willock, although a staunch VIP supporter, has consistently lobbied the government to address major issues facing his district and the rest of the territory.
“After years of my committee and I pounding the pavement for the restoration of the Hannah Hill Reservoir, today, it’s finally fixed. I must commend the Hon Julian Fraser, the Deputy Premier and my representative and the Minister for Communications and Works, the Hon Kye Rymer, who promised us that they would fix the leaking reservoir, and they have kept their word," Mr Willock said while visiting the plant on October 3, 2026.
With the Hannah Hill Reservoir now operational again, Willock said it is additional water storage for the district, so the residents will be able to receive water.
The valves at the Hannah Hill Reservoir were opened on October 2, 2026, following weeks of rehabilitation and testing.
'We will not stop until...'
Though he expressed gratitude for this major development, Mr Willock said he, along with his District 3 Committee, will continue its advocacy for the government to do more.
“We will continue, my committee and I, to ensure that we keep on this administration to continue fixing the water infrastructure, fixing our roads; not only the main roads but the secondary roads.”
The Virgin Islands Party government, he revealed, promised to construct another water plant in District 3, but said the district would also like a sewerage treatment plant there.
“So like the Seventh and Eighth Districts, we can start hooking up.”
Willock promised to continue pounding the pavement for the people of District 3 to ensure that the quality of life improves.
“We will not stop until all people enjoy the basic necessities- water, good roads, general infrastructure. Ladies and gentlemen, you have a champion in me, and we will continue to fight for our people. That’s why we always say. ‘With Willock, we win’.”
