Was there retaliation for Devern ‘Snoopy’ Stanley’s murder?

Body is that of 'Snoopy'
We can also further confirm our story as we reached our senior sources in the top brass of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) and the National Security Council who were briefed after information was provided by the forensic division of the RVIPF.
The Police Public Relations Unit has remained tight-lipped but informally has said investigations are ongoing.
Now that the family of the late Mr Stanley has been informed about the tragic news, more details are emerging on the condition of how the body was found. Stanley was reported missing on June 7, 2016.
The body, which was found by the RVIPF in bushes close to the Rogues Bay main road, was some 80% decomposed and carrying a strong stench.
There were no trace of gunshots on the body, according to more information obtained by our newsroom; however, both of his hands were allegedly tied behind his back.
Days after Mr Stanley went missing, a video of an alleged kidnapping of him appeared on social network throughout the Virgin Islands. When the body was found, according to information, he was wearing the same clothes in the reported video which helped to contribute to a positive identification of the missing man.
No attempt to assassinate Dr Smith; SUV was in wrong place @ wrong time
In addition, it is alleged that last night July 31, 2016 at around 11:00 P.M. on the dual carriageway close to The Moorings, some men on scooters fired gunshots at a car that carried Ricardo Farrell aka Scar. It remains unclear why he was a target.
According to police, the driver of a white Suzuki SUV travelling on the eastbound lane of the Sir Francis Drake Highway reported he was being pursued and shot at by men on a scooter near the Treasure Isle Hotel. Farrell sustained a bullet wound to this hand and was treated at Peebles Hospital. No one else was injured in the incident.
However, at the same time Premier Smith’s state-owned $92, 500 Cadillac Escalade was heading west on the dual carriageway and was caught in the hail of gunfire. Reports from senior police officers confirmed that there were no attempts to assassinate the Virgin Islands second Premier, Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith, a Territorial At Large Member, but it was just a matter of his SUV being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
The Premier’s Police Driver Jevon Tyson was the only one in the SUV at the time and escaped without injury but was “shaken up”, according to a family friend.
Premier Dr Smith and First Lady, Lorna G. Smith, were both at the time of the gunshots and accident attending the 2016 Miss BVI Pageant where they both witnessed Erika R. Creque crowned the new queen.
Investigations are still ongoing into the gunshots fired, along with the need to further secure the Head of Government.

@Just Saying...Can you read? The driver was trying to avoid the situation and that's how he got into the accident. Its obvious you don't think. Who start bussing shots while trying to get from chaos? The driver wanted out of that situation.
This probably is something dealing with Snoopy cause it all started with him after he was accused for the shooting on the beach! So it will just be a war until everyone on either side is all dead
Bvi has gone from good to bad super fast ...We as old people can't go out and have a great time anymore.. And that is very sad
