“Nurses are the heartbeat of healthcare,” said Dr Suzette Lettsome, President of VISNA and UVI School of Nursing faculty. According to Dr Lettsome, the Power of Nurses Convention will be an impactful retreat filled with pertinent information, continuing education sessions for nurses, community-focused initiatives to strengthen trust and health literacy, networking and mentorship opportunities to build the next generation of VI nurses and celebrations recognising the service of our Nurse Champions.

"The upcoming convention will feature keynote addresses, a panel discussion, interactive workshops and networking opportunities designed to empower nurses, strengthen professional collaboration, and reaffirm the nursing profession’s critical role in advancing health care equity,” Dr Lettsome said.
