ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Residents of the Virgin Islands are encouraged to help shape the transformation of public service by participating in an online survey. This survey is part of the Public Service Transformation Programme, which aims to inform ongoing improvements in government operations and public administration.

In 2025, the Office of the Deputy Governor launched a new strategic Public Service Transformation Programme, aligning transformation efforts with broader national plans and establishing formal guidelines for enhancing the Public Service.

The Public Service Transformation Manager, Mrs Kishann Cupid Braithwaite, stated, “The programme builds on previous successes by aligning with ongoing national goals and setting new standards for accountability and performance."

According to a Facebook post about the programme, the focus is on strengthening service standards and supporting public officers in meeting the public’s expectations, ultimately delivering more effective services to the people of the Virgin Islands.

Public feedback vital

Mrs Cupid Braithwaite emphasised the importance of public participation by stating, “The primary objective of the Public Service is to provide efficient, high-quality service to the people of the Virgin Islands. Public feedback is vital to guiding the continued development and improvement of the Public Service while helping to safeguard the quality and integrity of the public sector.”

The post also noted that all survey responses will remain confidential, and the public is encouraged to complete the survey by August 17, 2026, using the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7K9Y7JH.
